A Yahoo Group, entitled the 'Wakefield Bulletin Board', has been started to help
improve communication within our community. A Yahoo Group is a free mail sorter
service. It provides a quick and easy way for group members to communicate with

Moose Mountain Dixieland Jazz Band
The Moose Mountain Dixieland Jazz Band will perform from 3 -
5:00 p.m. at the Opera House in Wakefield.
Sanbornville Fireman's Association Dinner
The Community is welcome to attend the Fireman's Suppers that are
sponsored by the Sanbornville Fireman's Association. They hold a
fund-raising dinner to benefit the Wakefield Fire and Rescue Department.
The Fireman's Suppers dinner is held the Third Saturday every month from 5-7:00
p.m. at the Wakefield Public Safety Building (please use back entrance).
Adults are $7 and children 12 and under are $3. For more information please call

East Wakefield Volunteers
The East Wakefield Volunteers Meeting
will meet at the East Wakefield Fire Station at 7:00 p.m. Everyone
is Welcome to attend. We are always looking for new members.
We raise funds to support our local fire department.
Parish Harvest Supper
St. John's has begun holding their famous Parish Suppers on the
third Tuesday of the month and will continue into the fall. They are held
at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall, 118 High Street. The cost is $4.00 for
adults and $4.00 for children.
